Dr. Elena Black, DDS, Ph.D., is a native of Romania with over 25 years of professional experience. As the only orthodontist in Lynchburg to have completed The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine Mastery course and as a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Dr. Black is highly trained in treating patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea.

DR. SAMUEL BLACK
Dr. Samuel Black is originally from Charleston, SC. Currently, he resides in Forest, VA with his wife Elena, an orthodontist, and their two children. His educational experiences include receiving a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of South Carolina. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky Dental School, and a Ph.D. in Oral Biology and a certificate of advanced graduate studies in Endodontics from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Black specializes in frenectomies and is committed to helping babies develop proper jaw growth and open airways, so that they may nurse and eat with ease.
